The last race of the season took place at Zandvoort; after a dry practice with a surprise pole by Mike Hezemans (you can hardly call him a “local hero” since his race tally had only seven races at this track so far - this was his eight, and the first on the short version). He was followed by two more Porsches and Cecotto in fourth - with a non-wide body M3, just to show that he could win with a normal M3 GT as well - and he did on Sunday on a soaked track, followed by Nissen as ever. Hezemans managed third, a fine result for someone not used to the economy run in ADAC GT.
The division 2 championship was won by Spelsberg in the Toyota MR2; the first 4 of the championship were divided by only 14 points.
