Mansell mania at Donington; the 1993 Indy car champion tried his hands on touring car racing, with the car to have in 1993: the Mondeo. “Red 5” had an off on Friday after just 2 laps, and he ended in the gravel trap in the afternoon. His car wasn’t great after that, so after teammate Radisich had claimed provisional pole (though he had to start from the back of the reverse grid) Mansell took over and was fifth fastest. |
