The weight penalties were changed: the Dubois Audis got 30 kg extra (now 1260 kg), while Martin and Winderinckx were on 1150 kg, De Deyne on 1130 while Tassin and Slaus were the lightest with 1100 kg.
The Procar field was not made very welcome during this Formula 1 weekend; the paddock was a no-go and they had only a single heat on Saturday.
Both divisions were won by French guests; Dalmas drove the Guest-Peugeot (and Prossnitz got points too, since he was part of this regular pairing) and won, while Malcher returned behind the wheel of the De Deyne BMW; here, no points for the Belgian since this pair had shared only a single drive so far.
Martin had been fastest in practice, but Slaus got away first, leading Thibaut while Tassin stayed behind; he lost a wheel during the warmup lap, and had to fit a new one in the pits.
Slaus dropped back to fourth, and now Thibaut was in front, followed by Malcher. The latter put pressure on Pierre-Alain, and with success: a slight mistake and Malcher got through. Martin finished third, never really in contention and Verellen was able to pass Slaus for fourth.
Dalmas, in division 2, had to deal with Cohen and Verreydt but both had to retire in the end. The pair of Ménage and Schreurs, high in the championship standings, was split for this race: Ménage managed a third with the new Calibra behind Witmeur and was now leading the championship, while Schreurs’ Kadett refused to start.
