Race 1 was a battle between Rouse and Cleland, but when Cleland fell back it was Hoy who put pressure on the Toyota; when Rouse had to avoid a spinning backmarker, Hoy took over but soon had to give way to Rouse again.
In race 2, drama started even before the race; Ayles, trying to get to the front on the warm up lap had a collision with Sytner, who was weaving to put heat into the tires. Sytner could start nevertheless, but Ayles was out.
The race had another fight between Cleland and Rouse, but when Rouse spun Soper and Gravett went by. While Hoy was in front, Gravett fought down Cleland for second - finally the Trakstar Sierra got a decent result.
