The new Zolder race was nearly a secret; few visitors but good racing, away from the Zandvoort quarrels. In the over-2500 cc class, Hezemans was absent (banned) while van Krimpen brought his new weapon, a Sierra 4x4. It blew a turbo in practice as well as in the race, but his team had a small consolation with second for the old car with Allard Kalff behind the wheel, despite a broken gear lever. |
