Conditions were less than perfect during the Grand Prix but almost as soon as the chequered flag signalled the end of that event the rain came down heavier, much heavier for the start of the Touring Cars. It made no difference though. Rouse again made it look oh so simple, though in fairness his cause was aided by Robb Gravett spinning away his lead over Rouse at the end of the opening lap, and delaying the others with his car broadside across the complex. Guy Edwards made it a Kaliber one-two while Laurence Bristow completed the podium finishers. (MN) |
