Group N
Hemmes had a fine start, but Visser’s start was even better and he had a short-lived lead until Hemmes went by. Krab and van Krimpen lost more time behind the division 2 BMW but of course Visser finally had to let them go.
Van Krimpen pushed the pedal to the metal, went by Krab and closed in on Hemmes - but was unable to pass the experienced lady, since his rear tires gave up - he even fell back and left the road but managed to keep just ahead of Krab. Visser meanwhile now had Bleekemolen to fight with, and the ex-formula 1 pilot finished just ahead of the BMW, Visser’s first defeat this year.

Group A
Van Dedem on pole had a storming start, and van der Beek was quick off the line too, just like Moritz and Dam, while the Sierras took a little more time to go ahead. Hin was second on lap 2, but van Dedem had a big lead, as long as the Zandvoort straight. But Hin was fast, after another series of problems in practice, and finally beat van Dedem for the first time this year. Bouwman and van der Beek finished at a distance, and behind them Dam and Moritz had a good fight with their elderly machines. A welcome addition to the field was Jelle Veld, who bought a BMW 635 from Belgium (Vanierschot) but he had to get used to the big car.
Nobels had bad luck again, retiring in lap 9 so Welther won the 1600 cc class once again.
