30.000 spectators came to this combined car and motorcycle event, and in Group A we had a terrific fight between Hin and van Dedem, which was won by the Sierra. In third, and able to keep the pace of the frontrunners for quite a while, was rallye driver John Bosch with his Prodrive BMW M3, lowered for tarmac.
In Group N, van Krimpen was touched by Bleekemolen at the start and he fell back, finishing only fourth in class - Henny Hemmes passed him in the championship standings.
