Sharing with David Sears, Andy Rouse took his second BTCC victory of the year at Donington's two-driver event on Sunday. In front of an enormous crowd, Rouse qualified on pole and took the flag four seconds clear of Laurence Bristow/Tim Harvey. However that does not tell the full story of the race, for a long time a win for the impressive Nissan GTS-R of Win Percy/ Allan Grice looked to be very much on the cards, an unscheduled tyre stop putting them out of the lead battle.
