Another win goes begging for the driver of Skyline #15, this time Gary Scott. The Queenslander drove a marvellous race, withstanding pressure from Jim Richards to take what would have been his first (and only) ATCC win. Unfortunately, his car was running front brake calipers that weren't homologated; the paperwork had been handed in, but not yet rubber-stamped for use. So Richards was handed his first win for 1985 from Fury, with Francevic behind him in third. |
