Playing with the rear suspension surely did help the Volvo as well as the track, with long straights and tight corners. Francevic put the car on pole and was never challenged on his way to the flag. Johnson was a distant second and Brock had to fight with the BMWs and ended fourth behind Crichton and ahead of Richards, who was hampered by a faulty gear linkage. |
