At Salzburg, it was déjà-vu all over again; three Jaguars at the front (over five seconds faster than last year!), but behind them came the first BMW, that of Berger. But it wouldn’t be another 1-2-3 since Walkinshaw and Heyer first had misfires and retired with a cracked bellhousing. The 1-2 was safe however, and behind them finished the Italia BMW of Kelleners and Brancatelli ahead of the new Volvo of Elgh and Granberg. |
