The second free-entrance Race Festival of the year saw Staal taking the lead in the Manta, but soon he was overwhelmed by the usual suspects. Van der Beek had an excursion on oil, but could continue. He set fastest lap, and tried to outbrake the whole bunch of the Camaros and Staal at once, but discovered that it was just a little too much and he managed only to get by Staal. Hemmes and Vermeulen finished 1-2 with van der Beek third and Staal fourth. The new champions were Hemmes, van der Beek, Ernst and Welther. |
