Division 1
It was difficult again to get 10 cars at the start, but with a Capri and a BMW 3-series the field was complete. The Schnitzer team had their work cut out soon after the start; Stuck had damaged a tire, and von Bayern had the same issue. The lead was taken by Quester ahead of Müller Jr, until a pile of tires appeared in the middle of the track. Poor Quester was out, Müller had some damage too but could continue. But he stranded with a broken engine, which enabled the way for the first victory for Brun - since Schnitzer guest driver Jelinski had been in with a faulty clutch.

Division 2
Van Ommen seemed to have a super engine, he stormed away from eight on the grid into the lead and won the race. Even Selzer couldn’t follow, and of course he retired later in the race. Boller finished second and kept his lead in the championship intact.
