In what was possibly the best Tricentrol Saloon car race since the British Grand Prix last year, Vince Woodman took an excellent win from Gordon Spice, after a virtual race-long battle. A few seconds behind it was Rouse who took third, making it a Capri one-two-three, with Jeff Allam's Rover suffering, like everybody else to a greater or lesser degree, from tire trouble in a distant fourth. Another win in Class C for Win Percy means that he has extended his championship lead, failing to drop a point so far. Other class honors went to Jon Dooley and Steve Soper, but a protest lodged against the latter by the Datapost camp means that the results are provisional. Yet again! (MN) |
