The last race of the short season (the traditional October race wasn’t on the schedule in 1982!) was the yearly festival with more or less free entrance. It didn’t rain this time, so 35.000 spectators saw the final race of the championships.

Under 1600 cc
Kroesemeijer was way fastest again, but a group of five kept the spectators happy: Derr, van Leeuwen, Top, Span and Werkhoven had a jolly good time. Further joy was added by a spectacular accident at Tarzan between Uiterwaal and Mendonca Diaz; the first one rolling OVER the armco. Uiterwaal was taken to hospital with a shock but nothing more. Kroesemeijer won, of course, just like Derr won his class.

Over 1600 cc
Moritz had pole with yet another new fastest time (there was a little tire war, perhaps that is the reason) but it was Loek Vermeulen who took the lead, while van der Beek (Mazda) had to pit, ending his hopes of the title. When Vermeulen had yet another retirement, Moritz took over and won in style, while Oeberius Kapteyn clinched the 2500 cc title.
