Just one week later a second visit to the “betonschleife” took place. The 1150 A and AN cars started with a big fight between Fiesta drivers Schneider and Blomberg, with the latter winning, completed by the usual class win for Köster. Next up were 3 Golfs and 9 Talbots; the Rallye 3 class was won by Sauren. The Mk2 Escorts had a big fight as well, which ended when Manthey pushed Walkowiak into the barriers. The last race of the “Sportfahrer” report was the Group B under 1150 cc; again a win for Wieddekind which remained after technical inspection because of a protest by second placed Fischer. Fastest car on track was Schain in his Polo, but the car retired. |
