In Group 1, the usual fight between Pareja and Castro finished after a third of the race; while Pareja was in the lead, both cars collided was resolved when a third of the race was taking; the pilot of "Seat" was in front, but the cars touched and dropped back behind Sasiambarrena, Hernandez and Ayuso. Group 5 saw Martin Cantero (Seat 131) in the lead, followed by Arias (Seat 131) and Yustas, who had taken over the Escort from poor Peñacoba. They were followed by Oñoro (in Yustas’ Scirocco), Botas and Spinelli and the order remained so. To fill the thin field, a number of stock Fiesta XR2’s took part and they did gave a good show, with Villacieros winning over Celada and Trabado. |
