Hardly a mention in contemporary reports of this qualifying race for the Trophée Trans Europe, which also counted towards the Dutch championship. The only thing important enough for printing was a hard fight between Loek Vermeulen and Cleutjens; the Capri of the man from Limburg was full of dents from the Camaro. Cleutjens complained, but Vermeulen countered that the Capri driver was a tough one as well. Neither Vermeulen nor Cleutjens won the race: victory went to Moritz again. |
