On Saturday, the two production car races took place; and as a consolation for missing the big crowd, on Sunday a non-championship final was held. Qualifying times combined from the two sessions, with 36 starters and 4 reserves.

Under 1600 cc
Pole sitter Kroegman took the lead after the start, while Derr lead the 1300 class. Golf driver van Asselt took over the lead in lap 4 but lost it in lap 6 when he went too wide at Tarzan corner, so Kroegman and Prins slipped through. He could catch Prins again, Prins did some naughty things at Panorama corner - and the finishing order became Kroegman, Werkhoven (who stayed out of trouble I guess!), the battered Golf of van Asselt and Prins.
In the 1300 class, Derr had to pit for a loose coil lead; his class was won by Oeberius Kapteyn after a nice fight with van Leeuwen.

Over 1600 cc
Cleutjens made a daunting manoeuvre at the start and passed Hemmes in the narrow gap between her and the pit armco; a brave move after last weeks’ row at Spa, but Hemmes didn’t put a foot wrong this race. Moritz went to second, with Vermeulen and Hemmes fighting for third - the finishing positions stayed in that order.

Final
The touring cars were supposed to make a show for the audience, but Cleutjens didn’t want to take part and left the rest of the field standing. That he fell back later with fuel pump problems was perhaps his reward! In the end, Hemmes won ahead of Vermeulen.
