A meagre entry this Saturday, no doubt the disqualifications of last race took their toll.
For the first time, the cars had to race with silencers, which were especially difficult to realise with the Camaros. But everybody managed, and so the race set off with Vermeulen in front with Cleutjens the only one who seemed capable of doing anything about it - until his gear lever came adrift, and he had to settle for third behind Hemmes who finished second. Hutzezon won the 2500 cc class once again.
Coorengel’s black BMW seemed to make a little too much noise - but he got away with it.
