Alain Semoulin had to win in order to claim the championship. But on the wet track, Braillards BMW was at least equal, and more than that: he led the race, only to find “Alain Dex” (Semoulin’s brother) suddenly ahead of him; Dex had slowed down in order to help his brother. It worked out, Alain Semoulin could pass while Braillard could not - he was rammed by Dex. Braillard countered, hit the Dex car as well as one of the Martin brothers by mistake.
A title for Semoulin which we should better forget.

Group 2-5
Both Vanierschot and Bourgoignie won their class and therefore the title. De Jong started from the back with the Capri but finished third.
