The second race for the World championship was a Loos-Porsche victory, just as the first one had been. BMW had a little hope for pole, since the track was damp on Saturday as Giacomelli was on top of the time list. But alas, the track dried and Giacomelli fell back to tenth. Since the bill came in form of a broken engine, the car was a non-starter since the spare engine would run into the same sort of trouble soon. |
