Touring car racing at its best in a wet Zolder: the production race over 1600 cc was a cracker, with a fight between Schinkel and Semoulin (both Escort), with Martin (Capri) joining the frame in the end, separating winner Schinkel from Semoulin.
The small group 2/4 race was won without problem by Vanierschot, while Raus won the race over 1600 cc; the drying track ruined his rain tyres, but he could race to the flag, unlike Tricot.
