For the first race, championship decisions were already made. Zwaanenburg won once again.

For the bigger Group 1 cars, the championship had to be decided between Rien Frankenhout and Jan Lammers. Jan took the lead but after 5 laps Frankenhout took over with superior straight-line speed. Jan took over again, and mysteriously Frankenhout dropped back and hit a spinning backmarker. His race was over, a shared fastest lap with Lammers was all that was left.

The Group 2 field was combined into one race again, with many championships at stake. Meylink was absent after his disqualification, so the 1300 cc class was a fight between Coronel and Cleutjens. Alas, Coronel retired after only two laps, meaning that the championship was for Cleutjens.
Deen was lucky; his start was too early, but Datsun did not want to protest and left the race to Deen (although there was a fine battle with Tjan) and the title to Vermeulen. The 1000 cc class was already decided (Kok champion, a double Datsun victory for Antonides and van Dongen), while the 1150 cc title went to van der Beek two points ahead of Hettelder - who won the race. Van Oorschot won the 2000 cc class (with Vanierschot already overall Benelux champion, and finally Slotemaker won the big Group 1 class but there was no championship here - too few cars entered over the year.
