The ADAC Supersprint had a GT race to support the Interserie race. It turned out to be the best GT race of the season, with a trio fighting all the way to the finish: Heyer in the Jägermeister Kremer car, Wollek in the Vaillant car and Fitzpatrick in the GELO car.
In the end, Wollek who had lead from lap 5 on won the race, with Heyer securing second in the last lap. Hezemans, Bertrams and Schickentanz all fell victim of technical problems.
