Together with an Interserie and a Euro GT race, the Rundstrecken Championship had its 6th round, after the cancellation of the Niederstetten race.

Race 1
The organisers probably had their own ideas as to why the biggest touring cars should be combined with the smallest, but in the end Odenthal with her 24-valve Capri lapped the little ones at least three times during the 10 laps. Silly. She had no real opposition, but the other two classes had more of a race. The 1000 class was initially led by Will and Koch with NSU, but then Walz entered the fray with his Imp and won the class. The 1150 class had a surprise entry of Tubbesing in a Leinberger Fiat instead of his usual Audi. He was competitive, but Steinert would have been fastest in class on this track - if he did not have had to retire. So Tubbesing won, in front of Preukschat (Audi 50) and Sander.

Race 2
1300 cc and 2000 cc in one race. The biggest class was no real fight, with Schall winning over Schneeberger and Jähn. The NSU’s were a little handicapped by a FIA bulletin, where was stated that alterations on the firewall of the NSU were no longer allowed - so the normal straight inlet manifold could no longer be used - new, curved ones were called for.
Despite this, Bergmeister and Wolf ran away with the class, Wolf finally winning the class.

Race 3
The Scirocco of Dahlhäuser stood amidst the Carrera’s here, and was way faster than the BMW classmates. Even a gearbox problem could not prevent him from winning the class.
The GT classes were won by Dören and Sindel, who passed Halfmann unexpected just before the end.
