The Group 1 class under F 10.000 should better be called the Simca Rallye 1 and 2 class. Lammers had an entertaining fight with Bökenkamp once again but kept the upper hand, while team-mate van Dongen had a lonely race winning the smallest class. The big group 1 class was led by Slotemaker after a furious start, but he ran into tire troubles culminating in a blown tire eventually. Without any serious competition, Frankenhout won, while the next class was won by Deen after a fight with Maasland and Boshuis. The smallest class went to Abbenes, after an entertaining race with Kantore, Zoon and Onderstal, and even Vermeulen in the Mazda joined in, albeit two classes too low for him. |
