Marie Claude Beaumont was back and all the men got to know it. She won the sportscar race as well as the Group 1 race over 1300 cc. In this race, she started from pole, had a great start, took the lead and dominated right to the end with her Commodore. Greder followed most of the race in second, but his brakes went and he had to settle for third, behind the BMW of Antichan. In the two-liter class the Alfa 2000 GTV had no rivals and the victory went to Chamaillard. In Group 2 the big favourite, Geurie with his Capri, had a big lead until he spun in the last lap, leaving the victory to Aubriet (BMW CSL). Benoit (BMW 2002 16 valve) won the 2-litre class. |
