The championship visited Paris for the second time this year. The biggest fights were in the Group 1 touring car field, and apart from the victor special attention was for the fight between two fast ladies, Marie Laurent and Marie Claude Beaumont. The first piloted her usual powerful 7-litre Hemicuda and put it on pole, beating the Commodore of Greder, while Beaumont headed row 2 in another Commodore.
Marie Laurent led the way, but Greder, who lost none of his enthusiasm over the years took over in lap 2 and was never challenged again. But behind him was a great battle, Rouget who took second in lap 2 was attacked by the ladies. In lap 8, he had to succumb to Marie Laurent and “Beaumont” passed him two laps later. The fight was not over yet, but Laurent finished second only 6/10ths ahead of Beaumont.

In group 2 there was a victory for Aubriet in the ex-works BMW CSL official, but the race had lost most of its interest after lap 1, when Geurie (Ford Capri) went off after a storming drive from the back of the grid.
In the race for sports and series GT cars Mamers won without any competition, but the Group 3 Porsches made the race interesting, with Bardini, Touroul and Meo fighting.

Then the group 4 race took place, and a fight between Ballot-Léna and Lafosse was expected, both in Carreras prepared by Buchet; however, Ballot-Léna had a 74 version while Lafosse had to settle for a 73 model. In the rain in practice, Ballot-Lena had clocked pole, but Lafosse had the best start in the race and went ahead. Ballot-Léna caught him after five laps and went on to an undisputed win.
