Three races for the Swiss Championship at Misano. The first race was a victory for Fredy Toldo (Commodore) just ahead of the Alfa GTV of Eberle with Bernett a distant third. Twelve cars took the start in Group 2 with Hiltebrand on pole, who led the field away ahead of fellow BMW driver Ruedi Toldo. The fight for the lead lasted for four laps, then Hiltebrand lost it (perhaps with a little help?) at Tramonto and retired. Toldo won the race ahead of 1600 cc class winner Helfenberger. The third race was for GT cars with Lienhard on pole, and he duly won the race with Wolf with the Opel GT a distant second. In Group 3, there was a fine battle between Bosshard (Porsche) and Lattmann (Pantera) De Tomaso, the first winning his class and finishing third overall. |
