As support act for the 4-hour ETCC race two Group 1 races were added, touring car-wise. The small class was won once again by Lammers, and suspicions about the regularity of his cars came to a climax when a 10-point protest was entered by the DNRT. Some days later the car was declared legal. The big cars were led home this time by Fred Frankenhout, who had a good start and got team-mate Vermeulen in a Belgian Commodore between him and rival Coronel. Huub blocked the Alfa man professionally, while Hettinga broke his differential after a great start. The other classes were won by Rien Frankenhout and Loek Vermeulen - a triple victory for the DNRT. |
