Finotto brought a friend, Luigi Colzani, with another Escort to protect his title chances. Poor Ruoso ended with a broken wheel - you fill in the details, if you like. The 500 cc race was won by Lavazza, the second race by Valerio (Abarth 850) while the 1000-1300 classes the 15 starters were led by Bigliazzi, who beat Dona after the start. He than had a fight with Invernizzi and Ghislotti until the latter disposed of Invernizzi. Another close battle, between Santucci and Galmozzi ended when Santucci retired. |
