Four support races to the DRM main dish, the fields were nothing short of your average DRP championship round.

A: 1000 cc class
18 cars took the start with Tubbesing winning over Schwander and Schäfer.

B: 1300 cc
Meyer took the lead and won, but behind him lots of action took place. Mineif, fastest in practice, broke his gear lever, left the road and fought back until he was second again; then his gearbox stuck in second gear, with poor Manfred leaving the road once again. He did not give up and climbed as high as fourth at the finish.

C: 1600 cc
Touring cars and GT’s in this field; initially it was a BMW affair, until Hennige (Escort) broke loose and he won the race with Brand (Alpine) second and winner of the GT class.

D: under 850 cc and 1150 cc
Schmidt (Fiat) won overall, with Eichhammer and Wirsig winning the other classes.
