Not much excitement in the touring car or GT races on this airfield track; predictable winners (the Reppekus Fiat pair, the Escorts in the 1600 cc and 2000 cc class) - but the GT 2000 race was worth waiting for. Jürgensen took the lead from start to finish, but behind him four cars battled bitterly. Two Porsche 911’s (Leder and Rumpfkeil) and two VoPo’s (Timm and Nolte) exchanged positions, and finally the Porsches held the upper hand. |
