Mathiasen already had surprised many in the last race with his NSU in between the Austin Cooper brigade, but here he managed to finish second behind Kristoffersen.

Nelleman was uncatchable again, this time beating the BMW of Petersen and the Commodore of Mikkelsen.

A surprise at Djursland: Rasmussen had received a new engine for his 1300 Escort, and he beat Høyer who struggled to keep up.
