Group 1 under 1150 cc
Mathiasen had a new body on his NSU, but it was not to last long in this state since he had a forceful quarrel with Mølgaard with a lot of ramming and counter-ramming. In the end, Mølgaard was disqualified but Mathiasen not, to the grief of the Austin brigade - the championship was still open.

Group 1 over 1000 cc
The championship was already decided, so both Nelleman and Rasmussen preferred the Tour de France instead, so Mikkelsen won with his Commodore.

Group 2 under 1300 cc
After practice, Høyer decided to give the race a miss and prepare for the final race. Rasmussen couldn’t benefit since he was sidelined with engine troubles and a puncture, so it was Leif Pedersen who won the race overall - but his pace was such that he might have won if Høyer and Rasmussen had run trouble free.
