The lead was disputed between Tuerlinckx (Camaro) and Dex (Mustang), but when the latter retired with fuel feed problems the race was decided.

Group 2
The fastest men had a bad race (Mathay, retired after one lap) or did not even start at all (Grauls). So it was Fontaine who was in the lead, and it seemed the race was decided - she was over 50 seconds ahead of Tuerlinckx halfway through the race. Behind them, Dex and Franck had a battle but up front. Disaster struck on lap 10 for Fontaine: zero oil pressure! Tuerlinckx had another easy victory, with Dex in second and Franck third.
