28 cars at the start of the first race, while four other cars crashed in practice. The 500 class was a close fight with Santucci winning. In 600, Galluzzo was leading until his oil pressure was gone - and so was he. Gatta won the class. In 700, Valentini had a spectacular crash when his BMW 700 finally was healed from fuel pressure problems. In Tamburello, his rear tire burst and the car rolled at full speed. Valentini had some bruises but nothing more, while Leone won the class. Russo and Barone had a fight for the overall win, but then Russo overcooked it in Tosa and climbed the embankment. From then on, Barone’s victory was safe.

The second race had a full grid; some 1300 cc competitors were upset by the entry of works driver Dini (Autodelta had promised not to enter its works drivers), though it seemed that the Monzeglio cars of Zanetti and Pozzo were more than able to match his pace. There was a five-car group in the lead, of which one was lost when Zanetti spun at Rivazza. The positions behind Dini changed every lap, until “Gianfa" copied the spin of Zanetti - but he could continue. Now Uberti was second, followed by Pozzo and "Gianfa". The latter came within 4 seconds of Dini, but that was it, while the unlucky Pozzo ended in neutral, losing a couple of places. In 1150, it was Fiat versus NSU, but the Italian cars took over from lap 2 with “Shangri-La” winning the class. The 1000 cc class were all Abarth 1000’s of course, but two of them eliminated each other after a coming together in Rivazza. Becchetti spun in lap 14, and the avoiding action of Cattaneo backfired badly when he found himself back in the guardrail, with Becchetti rolling his car several times. In the lead were Stefanelli and Gargan with the latter winning.

The third race was a step back from the 2 previous ones; only three (!) cars were faster then the 1300 winner. Eighteen cars on the track, and as to be expected the race wasn’t very exciting. Dini set off, followed by Zeccoli and De Leonibus, with “Gap” fourth. In lap 10, Dini came in with a puncture; the wheel was changed quickly but the light at the end of the pit lane remained red (since the straight was full of cars), which didn’t bother Dini who rejoined the race anyway. The next lap the black flag put an end to his race, so Zeccoli won with De Leonibus second. In 1600, the Escort of Carlo Belli had no problem beating the Alfas. The 3000 cc class was won by Castelli, a full two laps behind the 2000 cc winner.
