A reduced national field here, but points for the championship could be won anyway; Leeuwenburgh, Dijkstra and Kiviet stayed away, as did Slotemaker. The 850 class was won by Hettelder (though the timing went berserk), the 1000 cc class was lost by van Staalduinen to German Hermann and his NSU. Full points for van Staalduinen anyway. Van Oorschot won the 1300 class, beating Akersloot, and in the 1600 cc class we had a surprise in the form of Hezemans in the DNRT-Escort; to take away points from his competitors, he lent Berg’s car and duly won this class as well as his own class in the Alfa Romeo; first and second group 2 time overall for him. |
