The yearly, cosy, get-together at Vaals provided good climbing and only one car which left the road, van Beusekom’s Lancia.
Some drivers drove two cars, some cars had two drivers. Most successful touring car pilot: Boshuis with two class wins. The biggest fight was between van Oorschot and Oskamp: after many climbs, the difference between them was only 1/100th of a second.
