The first race was a cracker. 6 standard cars of maximum 850 cc were covered by 3 seconds at the most. Jan Visser rolled his Mini. And Wim Visser could have won - but he met Cleutjens at “Bos uit”; Cleutjens rolled his Mini too and Wim could escape most of the mayhem, but a fifth and a damaged car was all that was left for him - while “Cento” won. But his Fiat was found to be most illegal - he was disqualified and banned from the rest of the season.

Next up was the standard race up to 1300 cc, with the 1300 cc cars starting 60 seconds after the 1000 cc cars. Boshuis taking victory in the 1000 cc class without much troubles, but behind him a fine battle for fourth kept the spectators awake. Van de Pol won the 1300 class.

Swart was favourite for group 5 up to 850 cc; but his start was disastrous, so van Staalduinen took the lead and managed to stay 20 meters in front of Ed, lap after lap. But on the final lap, Swart came closer in “bos uit” and slipstreamed past fellow Abarth driver van Staalduinen. Behind them, another battle raged between Smeets, Veder and Gerard van Lennep - Smeets won this battle, while Veder was warned about his driving by race director Jaap Zwart.

Group 5 over 1300 cc was started in two groups as well; first the 1600 cc cars, 60 seconds later the big ones. Lubin’s new Mann Cortina had trained to a fast 1.47,9, but he was not allowed a warm-up lap (he was a little late, but this could have been dealt with in a better way), so his start was slow and Chiotakis was already out of reach. Fastest overall had been van der Sluis in the Porsche, not quite as fast were Slotemaker and Akersloot with the Mustangs. Koster and van der Sluis had a terrific fight, until the Porsche went too fast at Tarzan corner and crashed in the fencing. Finally, Chiotakis won the 1600 class, Koster the 2000 cc class and Slotemaker the over 2000 class.

Last race of the day were the remaining touring cars between 850 and 1300 cc. Again, a double start here. Goedemans led the way from pole and was never challenged, while team-mate Oskamp won the 1300 class.
