After the division 1 start, Ed Swart took the lead but soon was passed by Zanetti. Then he was rammed from behind by Sandro Uberti, Swart’s car flew in the air, enabling Kauhsen to pass him underneath in the process. After Swart finished his roll, the car landed on its feet, could continue to the pits but had to give up. Kauhsen led a bunch of other Abarths to the finish, under which Reano, 850 cc winner. Division 2 was an Alfa Romeo GTA show, Demoulin retiring after being in the lead from the start. Andrea de Adamich took over and won. |
