In the first race, Jonker’s front row DKW refused to start and when it finally did he found himself in 16th position. But after lap 1 he was third, and after the next he was in the lead and won the race.
The next race was for cars from 850 to 1300 cc; American Wilson won outright in his 1300 cc Cooper, but he was followed by 1000 cc winner van der Feer only four seconds behind.
In the third race, for Touring cars over 1300 cc and GT’s under 1300 cc, with a fierce battle between Swart (in van Osch’ Abarth entered as GT) and Strous (Lotus-Cortina). While Swart led for three laps, the top speed of Strous’ car ensured a victory for the bigger car.
