The race had to be shortened form 15 laps to 8 laps since the F1 GP had to start on time. It became a Mini Cooper whitewash, with Slotemaker winning over Hildebrand, both in 1300 cc cars, while Hazelhoff Roelfzema came in third, winning the 1000 cc class in another Cooper. Behind them were a few nice fights, like between Swart and van Osch, and Jonker came away so bad at the start that he had to fight the whole race to get near the front again, finally beating Keller for sixth overall. |
