The national race for touring cars took place before the ETCC heats; Huisman (Volvo) took the lead but was challenged by Jonker (DKW) and van Eelen (Mini). The latter took the lead a few times, but was repassed, until he lost his wheel at Tarzan corner. Wim Visser started from the rear but climbed to fifth overall at the end. Ms. van Lennep and de Vlugt touched on a part of the track where Kortekaas’ stranded Mini partially blocked the road.
Huisman brought the victory home, with Jonker second and Linders winning the 850 cc class.
