During Friday practice it rained heavily but on Saturday, after even more rain, the track was dry for practice. Fastest was the Alfa of Demortier, roughly six seconds quicker than ENB team-mate Bianchi. McNally crashed his Mini Cooper when attempting to take Eau Rouge flat out - the Mini could not be repaired in time for the start.
The race itself proved to be tame, Bianchi and Demortier taking turns at the lead, until Demortier dropped back with a windscreen full of oil. Blydenstein was third for most of the race, towing De Barsy in his slipstream.
