Salvadori had already won three races this day, and the fourth one came with this touring car race. Parkes took the lead from the start, but lost a wheel and retired - for the second time today! Salvadori took over, and Sears retired while Blydenstein and Hutcheson had a splendid dice with the Borgward claiming class victory in the end. Whitmore and Aley had another great fight in the 1000 cc class, with Whitmore spinning in the penultimate lap, collecting Aley in the process. Shepherd slipped past and took the class victory, while Aley and Whitmore could complete the last lap and finished behind him.
