An enormous field at Snetterton; Jack Sears took the lead immediately and scored a fine victory, well ahead of another Jaguar driven by Parness. But third overall was already the fastest 1000 cc car, Shepherd who had been in a close battle with Young’s Anglia all the time. Behind them, another terrific battle had taken place between Gaston and Richard-Aley - with Gaston ahead at the line. Hutcheson (Riley) won the 2-litre class. |
