Spa 24 hours 1990


The fatal accident of Toyota TOM's driver Guy Renard caused the whole team to withdraw in respect.
Eggenberger could not repeatlast years' victory; this car retired with a broken gearbox. Head gasket failure prevented this Audi V8 from finishing.
22nd overall: the Alpine of Ferdinand de Lesseps, Flory Roothaert and Pierre De Thoisy. A respectable 15th overall and class winner was this Honda Civic of Fermine/Koentges.
Two group N Skylines: the Nismo #55 finished 12th, Janspeed's #57 11th overall - and another class winner, Weber, Williams and son Keith O'dor doing the driving.
Porsche, not a dominant force yet, had 5 cars in the top 10. Here #60, 9th overall, with Memminger/Leutwiler, and #52, 7th overall, driven by Guy Nève, Libert and De Jamblinne.
Fifth: the Linder M3 with Heger/Engstler/Slaus. Fourth: Soper/Hahne/J.M. Martin in the Bigazzi M3.
Third: Asch/Biela/Lindström in the surviving Eggenberger Ford. Second: Quester/Duez/Danner, Schnitzer M3.
